Bank of Canada Museum Yap Stone Glazing

The Yap stone is an impressive stone disk that is, in actual fact, money from the Yap islands in Micronesia. The stone sits at the entrance pyramid of the Bank of Canada Museum in Ottawa and requires protection from visitors descending the steps into the museum. A glass guard was installed with a height of 8 feet to separate the Yap stone display podium from the pedestrian traffic.
